HOUSTON – January 15, 2008 - GLO CPAs, LLLP, a large Houston-based 26 year old leading certified public accounting firm was ranked #1 in the United States as an A & A Growth Leader for the year of 2007.  A & A categories include audit and audit-related fees paid to auditors.  GLO CPAs was also ranked #43 for the 2007 Top SEC Firms in the United States by the Public Accounting Report – the Independent Newsletter for the Accounting Profession since 1978. 
All the statistics regarding this list were pulled from SEC filings.  The partners of each firm reported directly to the Public Accounting Report or to the PCAOB filings of which GLO CPAs, LLLP is also a member.

The report shows that there was a 1.82% composite increase in total fees from SEC registrant audit clients versus the previous year, according to PAR and AuditAnalytics.com.  GLO CPAs had the largest percentage increase in total fees paid by SEC audit clients versus the previous year with a 2,711.40% increase!

The Non-Big Four, as a group, had the biggest percentage increase in total fees paid by SEC audit clients at 11.83% while the Big Four had a 1.46% decrease.
