From Antonio de Santa Anna to Zavala, each character has contributed to
the lore that has shaped the character of the state itself. Characters like Jim Bowie and Sam Houston and their legendary stories come alive through Mr. Rushing's unique and personal blend of color, drama and humor. Kelly Rushing, the President of the Texas Historical Foundation, has a true love for Texas history and he brings a variety of our state's greatest historical characters and their stories to life in an insightful, informative, and interesting presentation. A financial advisor with UBS in his other life, Mr. Rushing believes that history offers many lessons which are useful in life and business. "I was first attracted to GLO, because of their bundled approach to accounting and financial planning services. The firm has done a lot for me - from tax returns to wills, to pension and estate planning. They are more than capable, and focused on complete customer service. Carl Glaw has tremendous ethics and a passion for giving back, which means a lot to me. It's very unusual to find an accountant that's as multi-talented as he is - no doubt, the best I've seen in my career."
